UCI TH!NK pairs graduate students in philosophy from UC Irvine with 5th grade classes in the neighboring Irvine, Santa Ana, and Borrego Springs School Districts to model and teach philosophical thinking and questioning through the reading and discussion of age-appropriate texts.

The UCSD Summer Program for Women in Philosophy (SPAWP) provides undergraduate women from all over the US, with a unique, intensive, rich, engaging, and supportive experience. Participants complete two highly intensive courses that introduce them to graduate-level work, and a number of workshops aimed at assisting them in their applications to graduate school. The goal is to provide the participants with the knowledge, tools, experience, and confidence, to stay with philosophy and succeed at it.
